I enjoy delivering my experiences to others A bit about me: Started off playing at school during the lunch hour, where we used to host shubeens in the classrooms. The teachers tried to put a stop to it, so we just kept moving classrooms until they provided us with a lunchtime disco. When I left school, I started up the sound called Black Star Liner in 1975. Disbanded Black Star Liner and rebranded in 1981 as First Choice. Also had a spell selecting for Exodus Sound in the late ’80s. Started radio with RJR and the rest is history. Regards

For that reason, I don’t just entertain, but like to educate people as well (which is why my show is primarily a talk show) and feel good knowing the I am able to have a positive effect on the lives of others by passing on knowledge. *A Bit About Me* I have been a member of the Holy Qubtic Church since 2003. We are a teaching church that teaches the scriptures from a Black African perspective. In my time I have conducted various lectures and spoken at many events. I was headhunted to present the Sunday morning Gospel show on Supreme FM, where I tie in the scriptures with modern contemporary issues. I deal with the programming of shows and scheduling the presenters Favorite singer / song: I don’t really have any favorite song or singers but (say what song/artist you are feeling right now) What do you gain from entertaining? I came to Supreme with a challenge, in which I get satisfaction. However, most of what I do is for the love of music. Most of my life I have been around music, dating back to the eighties. First around with Trojan from West London as a mic man; then I moved with the Equation roadshow for quite a few years. I had a break back in 96, it was then I decided in 2008 that I wanted to try radio presenting. I got in touch with the management team of Supreme FM (Goodie) and told him I was interested in doing radio. He gave me that chance where many may not have done. The Gladdy Wax Road Show is the brainchild of chief proprietor Gladwin Wright, specializing in presenting captivating Reggae, Ska, Soul, and Rhythm & Blues to a wide variety of festivals and clubs across the UK. The shop was seen as a pillar in providing record buyers across Europe with a supreme catalogue of new and collectors records between 1992 and 2006 - and is viewed by countless music hotshots as a much-missed landmark live outlet of Jamaican Music. The Gladdy Wax Road Show houses one of the most comprehensive and crystal clear sounding High Power Sound Systems in the UK and attracts countless music experts and music fans the world over. Playing for more than 40 years, Gladdy as he’s affectionately called is unparalleled in the world of DJaying.
